mmm! Coffee offer a wide range of syrups that can be added to any of our coffees or luxury hot chocolates. We actually offer about 12 different syrups, catering for all tastes ranging from French Vanilla to Salted Caramel and Toasted Marshmallow.
Did you know that you so easily make your own syrups at home! So why not give it a go! Here are a few recipes that work really well.
3 tbsp dark brown sugar
225G white granulated sugar
240mls hot water
1 1/2 tsp. of pure vanilla extract
Put the brown (this will give the syrup its caramel taste) the white sugar and water into a smallish saucepan and stir until well combined over a medium-low heat. Then bring to a boil, lowering the heat to low to simmer. Continue to simmer for 10-15 minutes until it has reduced and then take off the heat.
Add the vanilla, stir and then allow it to cool before storing in an airtight container in the fridge.
We use approx. 2 Tablespoons in each cup Delicious!
225G granulated white sugar
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Use a smallish saucepan and bring sugar and water to boil. Lower the heat and simmer until it has reduced to syrup, approx. 5 minutes. Add vanilla extract to the syrup. Pour into airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
480 mls water
340g granulated sugar
2 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Put all the ingredients in a saucepan. As before, bring it to a boil and then reduce to a simmer. Simmer (uncovered) for 15 minutes and then take off the heat. Cover and allow it to cool for a while. Strain through coffee filter or fine sieve to get rid of any of the ginger and cinnamon grains (although you don’t have to do this of course if you can’t be bothered!) Store in an airtight container in fridge.
